Introducing Seaweed Cultivation Project aimed at empowering coastal women through sustainable seaweed cultivation. Our project, in partnership with Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Amrita University, Transworld Group, and marine ecosystem experts, is dedicated to providing vocational training and business support to coastal women, transforming their lives and communities.
Coastal communities face numerous challenges, including economic instability, limited livelihood opportunities, and environmental concerns. Women in these areas often lack access to skills training and resources to improve their socio-economic status.
Our project offers a comprehensive solution by introducing vocational training programs on seaweed cultivation. Through hands-on training, business classes, and ongoing support, we empower women to build sustainable businesses, generate income, and contribute to their families’ well-being.
